About Minnie Romanovich

Minnie Romanovich is the founder and owner of Dressed to Skill, a New York City-based Fashion Styling and Image Consulting service with emphasis on personal and editorial styling.

Minnie has been passionate about fashion ever since she was a child, when she filled sketch books with clothing designs and helped family members with their styling choices. After earning her Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Minnie worked in advertising and later in children's book publishing. Her love for fashion and styling remained a hobby that was earnestly pursued on the side, until about 2007 when she signed up with Polyvore.com, a website pioneering social commerce combined with couture and high-end retail. Polyvore was hugely instrumental in channeling her vision and penchant for creating look books, as well as styling outfits. As she continued to evolve and hone her styling skills, Polyvore featured interviews with her and also recruited her as a Community Correspondent to cover New York Fashion Week for more than one season. Thanks to these developments, a lifelong hobby evolved into a more focussed pursuit, both personally and professionally.

Drawing from several years of professional experience, as well as her intuitive fashion savvy, Minnie has now carved a niche in the world of freelance personal styling. Not only is she keenly aware of proportion, color, and fit, but also has the unique ability to see within each client and extract confidence and strength. With an uncanny knack of channeling an individual’s personal style, she is able to customize any styling experience to fit her clients' needs, budgets, and lifestyles.

Her fashion inspirations include Alexander McQueen, Hermès, and Burberry. She's also a big fan of Elie Saab, Helmut Lang, and Elie Tahari.

She lives in Manhattan with her husband, Alexander and cat, Arianna. In their spare time, they love to read, take long walks in SoHo and Gramercy Park, visit museums, travel internationally, and try new restaurants.

In addition to running Dressed to Skill, Minnie is also available for online style consultations and complimentary look books via Keaton Row.

All personal styling services are available for men, as well. Minnie has experience in men's styling having consulted as Head Stylist and Content Strategist at Savile Row Society, working with brands such as Barbour and Citizens of Humanity. Other than giving wardrobe makeovers and styling her clients' looks, she also received extensive training in made-to-measure, enabling her to give precise consultations for tailored garments.
